Sorry, but why is it that they just can't admit that they lost and die with dignity?
It's a PS3 exclusive and that in itself is great news for racing fans in the PS3 only club. I for one am eager to play both GT5 and this one not for the graphics alone but for the 16 player online mode. You don't see 16 players online with the "other" consoles. If you want some slick racing, you gotta have a PS3 I guess.

But have to admit, I have been rooting for the underdog this past year. I guess it was the blind fanboys that put me in this position since I normally wouldn't care less about the whole thing. I bought my PS3 around launch as well as the 360 and have enjoyed both but I have been called names just for owning a PS3. Now it would seem that there is much crow to go around that each of the Xbots can have their fill. Good, now can we all jjst try and get along and put this fanboy war behind us? lol...
When I was reading the comments I actually got a good laugh especially knowing that BD is the winning format and that although it may not be fully needed for all games, it sure does make for a great movie experience IMHO.
Was there any question of this? Did anybody doubt that this would happen? Please, tell me there were none here that thought HD-DVD stood a chance...

I loved the first BLACK. It delivered for me in terms of action and crazy graphics for the generation of platform it came out for. I can only imagine what the next one would be like if they used the same game engine used in Burnout Paradise in the next BLACK. Well, I guess I will have to suffer with great games like MGS4, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and... Wait... No, I guess I won't be suffering. It is still a shame to hear the news though.
I was excited about it as I loved the co-op in Gears of War and thought that this would be another great co-op game. But to me, it just seems that EA has been skrewing the pooch lately and with the exception of their producing Critirions Burnout, EA has been on the high level of SUCK meter in my book lately. They are not out to make great games, they are out to make a quick buck off of cool franchises. If they would only use one or two of thos franchises the right way and make a game that is ...
For something I might play on my outdated PC... Sorry, but I read the preview of this game just recently and as much as I was fairly impressed with the way the game plays, I was not impressed with how well it looked. I know, graphics < Gameplay but it just seems that this game should look better for as long as it's been in developement. I mean, even RE5 looks better and it is further from being done than this game...
To see that finally, some media rags are seeing that the PS3 will have a great year in 2008. I know it's been rough for us early adapters but heck, no matter how much mud has been slung, I still enjoy my PS3. It is a great addition to my entertainment center. Kudos to the PS3 for working its way through a tough year and coming out smelling like roses. Now that shows me some dedication on the part of Sony.

What the heck kind of dev openly admits to being a puss when it comes to making games? I guess the answer to that is EA... Somebody needs to tell EA to shut up and put out.

But I wouldn't hold my breath for now. I suspect we will see them here in the States in about 4 to 6 months or so. First being Resistance and RR7, then games like R&C, Heavenly Sword and Uncharted.
What? Was there any doubt that Sony would over take MS? I think not... Having an installed fanbase of 120 million folks out there, it was no mystery that Sony would gain mor market share than MS. It was just a matter of time...
